Vietnamese coffee is rich, strong, and creamy, typically made using robustabeans for an intense flavor. You can enjoy it iced or hot .
Ingredients:
✅ 2 tbsp Vietnamese ground coffee (like Trung Nguyên or Café Du Monde)
✅ 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
✅ 120ml (½ cup) hot water
✅ Ice cubes (for iced coffee)
🔹 Equipment: Traditional Phin filter (Vietnamese drip coffee maker) or a French press
Instructions:
1. Brew the Coffee
1️⃣ Place 2 tbsp of Vietnamese coffee grounds into the Phin filter.
2️⃣ Lightly press the coffee with the metal press inside the filter.
3️⃣ Pour a small amount of hot water (about 20ml) to let the coffee bloom for 30 seconds.
4️⃣ Slowly pour the remaining hot water and cover the lid.
5️⃣ Allow the coffee to drip for 4–5 minutes into your cup.
2A. For Hot Vietnamese Coffee (Cà Phê Sữa Nóng):
☕ Stir 2 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk into the hot coffee.
☕ Mix well and enjoy warm.
2B. For Iced Vietnamese Coffee (Cà Phê Sữa Đá):
🧊 Pour 2 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk into a glass.
🧊 Add ice cubes and then pour the freshly brewed coffee over it.
🧊 Stir well and enjoy chilled!
